An introduction
Simone Reynoso Donzelli
I work as an AI Engineer at Ernst & Young (EY), where I focus on the development and optimization of intelligent systems that enhance automation, data processing, and human–AI interaction. Prior to transitioning into this role, I gained hands-on experience in banknote production and quality control during my time at the European Central Bank, as well as a strong foundation in machine learning and process optimization from both industry and academia. I hold a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada, where my research led to two first-authored publications. Throughout my studies and professional journey, I have strengthened my software development abilities through self-guided learning and technical coursework, underscoring my dedication to continuous improvement and technological innovation.
Growing up in a bilingual environment, I effortlessly acquired fluency in both Spanish and Italian. Further enhancing my linguistic repertoire, I pursued formal education in English, German, and French during my schooling years. As a result, I am now fluent in nearly all of these languages, a skillset that not only enriches my global perspective but also underscores my adaptability and versatility in multicultural and multilingual settings.
